Not even sure where to begin with the outstanding experience we had with DHD... We requested 4 quotes from local design/contracting companies. While DHD was on the pricier side, you get what you pay for when it comes to remodels and renovations. Here's what we "got": -5 star Michelin-style service and communication. Their team treated our home like it was a prized possession. A team member always arrived early to set up the space (lay down mats, review the plan, meet with another employee or sub, tell me the plan for the day, etc.). Someone would check in on work during the day. Finally, a team member would come and review the day's work, take out trash, clean the space, and fold up mats. Additionally, a member from the office would let me know the next day's plan (a plan for the entire week on the Friday before and again the day before the actual work) and send me a reminder in the morning. People from the office were always reachable. If something required a change order because it wasn't available or we changed our mind, they addressed it right away and kept the project moving. -Creativity. We wanted a sauna that looked like it was always meant to be in the bathroom. We began with a wall soffit that transitioned into matching cedar framing. The outcome was beyond what we imagined. -Quality product choices. I loved that we could mix high/low price points while not having to give up any quality. -Listening to needs. We really wanted something with simple lines that was easy to clean and included thoughtful add-ons to make our life easier like: a docking drawer with outlets for my blow-dryer and flat iron (the best thing ever!), anti-fog mirror, shower guard glass door, custom pull out drawers to maximize storage space, etc. -Inspections. All passed with flying colors. DHD always met the inspector at the home and passed easily. At our final inspection, the inspector said it was the most beautiful sauna set-up he'd ever seen. Everyone at DHD who we met (from our initial email to meeting with Luisa, to all of the team who came through our home to review or work, to the office, etc.) were kind, responsive, friendly, and took pride in their work. Having experienced nightmare remodels and renovations in the past, DHD was a breath of fresh air and we look forward to our next project with them!

As with any project, there were a few hiccups, but the team was proactive in addressing them. They didn’t wait for us to notice issues; if something wasn’t quite right, they flagged it immediately and came prepared with solutions. The attention to detail was exceptional. Even though they were busy, they always made time for us and treated our project with care. We truly felt like our kitchen mattered to them as much as it mattered to us. We highly recommend Dream Home Design to anyone looking for a remodel done with skill, integrity, and heart.

We are thrilled with our new kitchen. Luisa at DHD invested a lot of time developing three or four different designs over several months before we settled on the basic layout. Luisa also provided suggestions for plumbing and lighting fixtures which completed the final look. We took down two interior walls, relocated plumbing and electrical lines, and installed two new windows. Everyone in Luisa's DHD crews was extremely professional, polite and ALWAYS cleaned up at the end of each workday. The office staff kept us informed of when work was scheduled so we always knew what to expect. We were impressed with the excellence of all aspects of the job, but in particular, the cabinet maker/installer Erasmo is a perfectionist. We would highly recommend DHD for any remodel project in your home.

Dream Home Designs did a wonderful job on our kitchen remodel! We met with 4 different companies when trying to determine the right design plan. Luisa was the one that truly listened to us and came up with the plan! Our kitchen is beautiful and functional! Luisa made suggestions that helped us think through the little things that would make our kitchen work better for our needs. The team in the office did a great job of keeping us informed of the work planned for each day. We got texts or calls to let us know what to expect the following day. Every member of the team was helpful and pleasant. They always took special care to protect the rest of our home from dust that might come from the work area. The work area was cleaned at the end of every day. The DHD team did a great job of taking care of our home and making sure that the all work being done was top quality! Communication is so important and we felt like the team did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the entire project. We truly could not have asked for a better experience!

Working with Luisa and the Dream Home team exceeded our expectations! Luisa worked hard to help us match our design preferences with our budget; coached us through the project timeline; and Veronica provided great communication throughout the entire experience so we knew what to expect when. The project lead and all the workers we talked to throughout the demo and construction were efficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. We love our new kitchen and dining room!
