We turned our Dining Room into a downstairs office. Since the entrance to the dining room, was taller than a normal doorway, a custom door was needed. Raleigh Woodworks assisted us with this project. Tom is a true craftsman. He came highly recommended. He came out to take measurements of the opening and explained how a door and a transom could be custom built to fit the opening without tearing out the existing molding or door frame. This was something our local home improvement stores could not do. Tom kept his promise. He and Brandon just completed the installation. You would never know the new door was added and another was replaced. We added a solid glass door with transom at the entrance and replaced an existing solid door with a matching glass door. I absolutely loved working with Raleigh Woodworks on a custom cabinetry project I hired them to build for our back porch. They transformed a top-entry, built-in brick firewood storage box that we didn't have a use for into a stunning cabinet with a hidden front door panel and shelving inside. We now have additional outdoor storage for grilling and gardening tools, citronella candles, etc that is both functional and beautiful! Not only am I thrilled with the final result of this project, I was really blown away with the level of service and communication provided by Tom and Corinne. They listened to my ideas and provided professional guidance and structural recommendations when needed in order to build what I wanted in a way that made sense. Corinne does an amazing job with email communication (project timeline, cost estimates, and scheduling) - I always knew when to expect them and how much everything would cost, and her responses were always prompt, professional, and detailed. I worked with Tom for the installation and cannot say enough good things. He is incredibly friendly, kind, and so knowledgeable on all things carpentry. Not only did he explain the building process of the cabinet he was building for me, he also took the time to answer numerous carpentry questions I had about other projects we're considering for our home - I genuinely learned so much from our conversations! Had the BEST experience with Raleigh Woodworks when they installed picture frame molding in my downstairs powder room. It turned out beautifully, was reasonably priced, and the whole team was so nice. Everyone was communicative, punctual, and considerate of my home. After the job, everything was painted and cleaned.
