The gentleman arrived on time as scheduled. Introduced himself professionally. He was very neat and orderly with his equipment. He setup to provide the service and worked steadily until complete. He made sure the surface area was free of any debris and corrected imperfections from prior sliding shower doors that we removed. I am in disbelief of how perfect the area now looks. It has made all the difference to me for our bathroom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!!! The cost was so much less than pulling out the ceramic tub and installing a new one…not to mention the cost to replace the tile! I love the results!!! The gentleman who provided the service was Hermes Marte….Thank you all!

Updated 1/13: Changed review to 4 stars. Following my review, one of the owners promptly reached out and assured me that my experience was not acceptable and that they would make things right. I was offered either a full refund, or a refinish including the needed injections, so I opted to allow them to refinish once more. Renov8 went above and beyond to redo the job the correct way, and the final results exceeded expectations and look fantastic.Overall very disappointed with my experience with Renov8 and the value of the service provided. Original review: The pros of my experience: Everyone I spoke to was polite and courteous The cons: Literally everything else. Total lack of punctuality or communication. Multiple failed repairs that still have not been sufficiently corrected after 3 different visits. A repair that frankly looks terrible, and leaves the shower looking unfinished. I initially requested Renov8's services to repair a hairline crack in a shower pan. The crack had formed due to an apparent lack of support under one section of the pan, leading to slight flexing. For the initial visit/repair, I was told that the arrival time would be between 8 and 9am. When no one had arrived by 9 with no contact, I called in to get an ETA and was told that they were 15 minutes out. The tech did not arrive until another hour after this call, after 10am. For this repair, he simply filled the crack and painted the pan, doing nothing to actually address the underlying issue. After allowing a few days to cure, the repair unsurprisingly failed after showering twice. When I called to report the failed repair, I was advised that it would be an additional $150 for added reinforcement - something that should have been done the first time. Renov8 then sent the tech out again on 12/23, and I requested a time as close to 2pm as possible as I had family in town from out of state for the holidays, and an appointment at 5pm. Again, an hour passed and by 3pm I had heard nothing from anyone, so I called to request an ETA. The woman I spoke to on the phone sounded surprised that the tech was not already at my home, as he was supposed to be en route and she had heard nothing from him either. Like the first time, he again arrived an hour later at 4pm, and was only able to complete the prep portion of the second repair. At this point I have wasted 4 hours waiting on late arrivals for both scheduled visits, including losing hours with family that I only get to see a couple times a year. The tech then arrived first thing in the morning the next day on Christmas Eve to complete the repair and refinish for the second time, and again rather than correctly reinforcing under the pan, he chose to apply a massive rectangular Bondo patch as seen in the photos. Not only does this repair look and feel awful, but the flexing issue has still not been addressed, and the caulk is already beginning to separate. Additionally the patch has rough/jagged edges that were not properly flattened/smoothed out, so this second repair just looks and feels like a hack job. Other than a couple "sorry for the inconvenience" over the phone, nothing has been done to actually address the fact that this repair is not acceptable and many hours of my time has been wasted. Rather, I was actually charged additional money for what is still not a sufficient repair. I received multiple quotes for this repair from a handful of businesses in the area, all of which included foam injections to remediate the lack of support. Renov8 also quoted this reinforcement as an "Add-on as needed". In fact for $100 more than Renov8 quoted, a competitor offered the foam injections with a complete inlay, which would have left a professional and consistent surface, much unlike what I received here. I made the mistake of choosing the "cheaper" Renov8 quote, as this basic reinforcement was never done by the technician, although it is very clearly needed and the repair has now failed twice. Save yourself the headache and wasted money and choose any other option in the area.

I would definitely recommend this company if you’re considering bathtub resurfacing. They repaired and resurfaced a damaged shower/tub combo unit at my home. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED that they did not try to sell me up on more products, other services, etc. there was no big sales pitch or visit to my home before they were able to give me an estimate. I simply called them, sent some pics and they gave me an estimate over the phone. I was able to schedule the job quickly. The technician that came to my house showed up on time, communicated what he was going to do and did the work the same day. The work itself looks beautiful! He repaired the damaged area and repainted the whole unit to ensure that it matched. The price was exactly what was estimated and very fairly priced. This company did a tub at my partners house and my house. Great experiences both times!!!

Such an easy process and the result was wonderful! We needed a previous paint job on our tub removed and a new one out on and it only took a little over 5 hours. Dylan did an excellent job and there was little to no clean up after he left! I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again.
