Last year, after some extensive research, we chose Portofino Tile as the contractor for remodeling our hall bath and master bath. Nicole and Bob were very professional and fun to work with and we enjoyed seeing the plans for what our bathrooms would look like. Hall bath took 10 days and master bath took about 12 - from total gut jobs to total perfection... The crew are all truly gifted craftsmen and easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right, worked right, and was beautiful. Couldn't be happier with our primary bathroom suite remodel by The Bath Remodeling Center! From design to execution, Nicole and her team were friendly, courteous, professional, timely, and in constant communication! Having a dedicated team for demolition and reconstruction made for a quick project. When we moved into our house, we inherited two tiny his-and-her bathrooms instead of a functional master bathroom — far from ideal. We reached out to The Bath Remodeling Center to transform them into a proper master bath, and from the very beginning, we knew we were in good hands. Nicole came out to measure right away, and we soon met with her at the Cary office, where she had already prepared a couple of detailed layout options. Her office is equipped with a large screen that displays a 3D rendering of your design, and we got to walk around and explore different tile, flooring, vanity, and hardware choices. The level of detail was incredible — down to the shade of the grout! We were very impressed. My wife and I are not the easiest clients; we rarely go with trends and have strong design opinions. We wanted a green and brushed gold-themed bathroom with a bold accent wall featuring tile that looks like wallpaper — far from the whitewashed look our home had when we moved in. Nicole was beyond patient and helped us turn all our quirky ideas into a dream design. Her architectural skill and vision were remarkable. Although they were booked out a few months, the actual construction only took about two weeks, which is one of the things that sets them apart. The crew was incredibly fast and efficient. In fact, the only delays were from the inspectors, not the remodelers. Despite that, the entire job (minus the final paint and custom shower glass) was done within the promised timeframe — very impressive! The workers were polite, professional, and respectful of our space. Most of the dust was contained behind plastic, and they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. When the job was complete, the space was “painter-ready,” and thanks to my friend who's a painter, we were able to wrap up the finishing touches ourselves. Like with any renovation, it's important to stay in communication and speak up about any concerns. The team was responsive and proactive. For instance, when we realized the brushed gold shower arm we chose wasn’t quite right (our mistake), they had a new one ordered immediately. And when a light fixture I had selected showed up with a hairline crack, Andrea — our awesome project manager — had already noticed and ordered a replacement. That level of attention to detail is rare. Our new master bathroom looks absolutely spectacular — better than we ever could have imagined. We’re thrilled with the results and genuinely enjoyed the process of working with the entire team. Everyone that tours our house is in awe at how amazing this room is. So much so, we’ve already put down a deposit for our next bathroom renovation. We plan to have them do all the bathrooms in our house.
